VALUES
-
GREAT LISTENER
We listen to what the client wants, their over feel of the project and final outcome for their business venture. They share confidential information with us that will not be repeated but will be used as a tool to create the best project for their company.
-
TRUST WORTHY
We are very trust worthy and does not share information about our clients ever, not even years later. It is so important to understand the dynamics of a business and their personnel to design the space they need to be the most productive & profitable company possible.
-
EDUCATE
In many projects, we help our clients talk through the work flow of a newly created department, in order to create the space that the employees will work in. We design from the inside out of a space not design a space to fit within the box. We also talk to our clients about life cycle costs- the initial cost of a material versus looking at the cost over a 5 or 10 year period and the maintenance of that material.
-
RESEARCH
We observe their current environment for 30-60 minutes to see what functions for the employees and what doesn’t. We also believe in a “soft” democratic design philosophy- encouraging the owners to ask the workers what they like and dislike about their current environments & spaces, and then we take all their ideas and form conclusions & solutions. I know we can’t make everyone happy but we try for the majority. Happy employees = productive ones = more $.
-
BUDGET
We respect their budget and help stretch their project dollars to the correct locations and skimp in areas where most people will not notice. As the project goes into the construction phase, We are protective of project designs and try to maintain the original design intent with the general contractor.
-
CREATIVE
Our design team all feel like this profession picked us and not vice versa. Being creative is not something we ever pursued; it has been a part of our personalities since we were children. We love what we do and feel incredibly lucky to get paid to do it!
